I have been wanting to start my weight loss journey for years. Unfortunately, after being diagnosed with diabetes, it really was the kickstart I needed to lose my weight. Weighing in at 211 pounds (96 kgs) on 5'1 small frame, I stared at myself in the mirror on the morning of Sept 17, 2023. I knew today was the day to start my gym membership and make the right choices to reach my goals. Enough was enough. Without another thought, I quickly changed into gym attire, grabbed my earbuds and phone and headed out the door to start my new journey. I was committed to making new habits and changes. I'm still going on strong 2 months in and I have no plans to stop. I'm currently at 202 pounds (92 kgs). Almost lost 10 pounds, but I have managed to lose a dress size so far. Watch me lose 80 pounds, build my empire, and be the best version of myself that I will be proud of.
